Persian Language Program for Non-Iranian Students:

This program is designed for non-Iranian students planning to pursue degree programs at Iranian universities, as well as non-Iranian individuals interested in acquiring Persian language proficiency.

The International Language Center provides a range of courses delivered as structured educational packages. These incorporate the latest international teaching methodologies and standards, utilizing the most up-to-date Persian language resources. All textbooks used in the programs are approved by the Saadi Foundation.

The program consists of four levels:

– Beginner (A1)

– Elementary (A2)

– Intermediate (B1)

– Advanced (B2)

Non-Persian-speaking students at Amirkabir University of Technology are required to successfully complete these courses prior to enrolling in discipline-specific university classes.

Persian Language Courses for Postgraduate Studies at Amirkabir University of Technology

In accordance with the university’s educational regulations, applicants for postgraduate programs who are Persian language learners must successfully complete Persian language courses (at minimum to the intermediate level) and obtain the required certificate.

Persian Language Teacher Training Programs

The International Language Center offers specialized programs in Persian language instruction, designed to enhance professional competencies in teaching Persian to non-native speakers.

Program Completion Certificates

Students who successfully complete the advanced level receive an official certificate of Persian language proficiency.

Persian Language Assessments

The examination schedule is provided to participants at the start of each course. A final examination is administered at the conclusion of Level A2.

Placement Assessment

Given that most students have little or no prior knowledge of Persian, including familiarity with the alphabet, they are required to enroll in and complete the full educational package from the beginner level without needing a placement test. Should a student present evidence of prior Persian proficiency (e.g., a certificate), an in-person assessment covering all four skills will be arranged to determine appropriate placement.

Assessed Skills

The comprehensive Persian language examination evaluates all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
