Admission of International students at Amirkabir University of Technology
The function of education not only has gone beyond transferring knowledge and experiences from one generation to another but also, AUT, its stable and effective role and position in culture and foreign relations has found a strategic function in government relations and cultural interaction and sustainable relations of nations and tribes. Accordingly, Amirkabir University of Technology, in order to strengthen and develop effective scientific and cultural exchanges, has introduced the university as one of the centers of higher education in the international community. So, Amirkabir University of Technology has always tried to provide a suitable platform for introducing the achievements, publishing and developing the rich Iranian-Islamic culture along with expanding its scientific and cultural relations with other countries in the world. In order to support the talented youth of neighboring countries and other countries and train specialized forces for their scientific self-sufficiency, this university will attract and accept non-Iranian applicants for scholarships and non-scholarships.

Learning the Persian Language
The International University Language Center (ILCA) is established by the Department of International Affairs of the Amirkabir University of Technology based on the university’s strategic goals and programs to develop international communication and interaction with universities, scientific and research centers around the world.
These classes offer a friendly environment for our new students to get to know AUT and learn the national language of Iran so that they can have a more pleasant stay here.
The student’s basic and functional language needs for purposes such as shopping, taking a taxi, daily exchange, etc. have been taken into special consideration. That’s why we teach both spoken and written Persian and use educational films to teach listening and speaking.
Starting the academic courses at AUT requires students to have a basic knowledge of Persian. Our highly experienced and dedicated instructors have prepared the courses for students who expect to learn a target language within a short period. They have been able to help students reach the academic competence to participate in university classes in a matter of 8 months.
Persian Language Courses include Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced.

The Center’s English Language Unit, as one of the most active units, has the mission of empowering and enhancing students English proficiency through modern and up-to-date teaching methods.
Participating in English courses at ILCA, students would have permission to attend academic classes held in English.
In each semester English courses are provided in 3 levels (Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced) and 4 skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing).
