Admission Process – Bachelor and Master Degree
How to apply for admission:
After ensuring that the conditions of the university are met, the applicant must first register and complete the online application form at:
https://admission.aut.ac.ir/
Admission steps will be implemented by the Office of International Students upon completion of the application.
Acceptance time:
1. First semester period:
• Submission of applications by applicants from 5th March to 5th May
2. Second semester period:
• Submission of applications by applicants from 23rd October to 21st December
Note: According to the rules of admission regulation for International students approved by the esteemed board of the Amirkabir University of Technology, applications sent after the end of the announced time periods for each semester will not be processed and they can be reviewed for the next semester.

Registration
Registration documents:
- Transcripts of the last three years of high school (only for BSc applicants)
- High school diploma
- Transcript of BSc degree
- Completed online application form at http://admission.aut.ac.ir/
- A copy of the passport
- Scholarship letter (if available)
- A clear scan of applicant’s photo
- Transcript of BSc degree for MSc applicants
- Two recommendation letters for MSc applicants
Our Language Center offers language courses in case you do not have an English language certificate, but if you do, we accept an IELTS grade of 6 for our BSc degree programs and an IELTS grade of 6.5 for our MSc and PhD programs.
· Persian Language Proficiency Certificate
In-Person Registration
After receiving the visa and entering Iran the applicants are greeted by our welcoming committee and they receive student ID card, dormitory room and study pack. Then they start their Persian Language Courses.
Persian language
· If the admitted person has the AFA/ SAMFA certificate aboveB2, it is not necessary to participate in Persian Language Proficiency courses, otherwise Persian Language Courses at ILCA is mandatory for all international students.
· The applicant has obtained his/her previous degree in a university where the content is taught in Persian. The applicant must have received this certificate no sooner than 2 years prior to new registration.
Note: After successful completion of Intermediate courses with the score of B1, the students can start their Academic courses.
To receive the certificate of Persian Language Proficiency students must obtain the score of B2.
